Mikelso 50-Costa Rica Sport Fishing Charter
The Mikelson 50 has become well known for it's comfort and long range capability since this model's introduction in 1988 and it's a great choice for fishing the waters of Costa Rica.
Whether the goal is to cruise for an afternoon or several days at a time, fishermen will find that this vessel offers an exceptionally stable platform - thanks to a design that balances the engine weight and fuel tank distribution to keep a perfect trim and balance as she plys the waters with grace. The reverse shear built into the transom provides spray-free backing down and ample lift in following seas.
The fully equipped sportfishing cockpit features a teak deck and an opening transom gate that leads out to a big, wide swim platform. A large bait tank is built into the center of the transom, and it comes with lighting and views windows, giving the effect of a giant aquarium.
The Salon offers a comfortable place to unwind with large, comfortable settees and galley stocked with the full complement of appliances.
While the Mikelson 50 is a sleek and stylish boat, its lines lean more toward the conservative and classic than those of the latest Eurostyle cruisers. Marlin Fishing
Marlin are seen throughout the year, prodominantly between the months of Late January through mid September . Blue marlin are most common especially mixed throughout the running sailfish.
