Activities-Leon
We'll drive to the archeological ruins of old León, located at the foot of impressive Momotombo Volcano, where the graves of the first Spanish conquistadors lie.

Here we'll see the ruins and remnants of one of the oldest cities in the Americas , destroyed and buried by one of Momotombo's violent eruptions.
Afterwards, we'll get to know the new city of León, where the colonial era lives on in some amazing examples of Spanish architecture. We'll visit places of great historical and cultural interest, such as:
- The Cathedral of León /- La Merced Church / - Ruben Dario Museum
- The Fundación Ortiz Guardián Art Museum

Day 5: Wednesday, July 25th, 2007
Includes: Breakfast, lunch , dinner and entrance park fees.
Activities-Masaya Volcano - Handicraft Market- Catarina- Granada
San Juan del Oriente

After breakfast the trip starts in Masaya Volcano National Park , where we will reach the edge of the Santiago crater. A stop is planned in Masaya, where we will get to know the town and visit the handicraft market that sells 90% of the excellent art produced in the country. Our next destination is the colonial city of Granada and on the way we will stop by the Catarina Overlook to enjoy an absolutely magnificent view that looks over the Lagoon of Apoyo.
