Cala Luna Hotel & Villas is the most upscale hotel near the charming fishing village of Tamarindo. Featuring traditional Central American architecture, it is centered between two estuaries, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, and beautiful beaches, only 40 meters away along a direct access path. Its decoration expresses the soul of Costa Rican style, with excellent taste and modern comforts.

Located on the Northwestern shoreline of Costa Rica, Tamarindo is a charming fishing town of 1,000 inhabitants. The picturesque region opens a doorway to the romance and serenity of flat lands, green mountains and rich foliage.

In addition to our private villas, we offer 20 deluxe hotel rooms. All are surrounded by luxurious vegetation of abundant silver palms, delicate hibiscus and colorful bougainvillea. All the rooms have patio terrace, a/c, fans, fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone and private safe. The hotel rooms are so close to the beach that you can hear the waves.

Master Bedroom

Cala Luna offers sixteen, two-bedroom Villas with AC. Each villa is approximately 1,350 square feet (150 square meters) and can comfortably accommodate four people.

For larger parties, the hotel has five three-bedroom Master Villas with AC and 1,800 square feet (200 square meters), providing for up to six people. All villas are equipped with fan, a/c, direct line telephone, satellite TV, stereo CD player and fully equipped bathrooms. The kitchens boast amenities such as an espresso machine and a microwave oven. Private parking is also available.

With a view over the swimming pool, the restaurant serves typical cuisine from the Guanacaste province, offering seafood and fish specialties and Italian cuisine, as well as traditional American breakfast and snacks. You can choose from a wide selection of local and international dishes, all with an European touch that combines both tradition and quality.
