Ireland is known for its stunning landscapes, vibrant colorful villages, ancient Celtic relics, lush green valleys and abandoned castles. As an ocean outpost at the western edge of Europe, Ireland has a natural character quite different from the Continental landmass. Its geology is remarkably varied with rocks that range back over 2,500 million years. Once, long ago Ireland was covered by ice, and the track of the glaciers can now be read in the dramatic shapes of the mountains and the hills of the countryside. It is still the people however that gives the country its magical feel. Whether you're hearing a hardy "How ya" on an afternoon stroll, listening to music in a Pub at night, or sharing a cup of morning tea, great friends will be made at every turn. Join us on this magical journey to experience and photograph this unique country. I know this beauty first hand as I was born there and still consider it my second homeland.
Brendan Regan and Rolando Arburola are your tour guides and have put together trips for the past five years bringing people to Central and South America. Rolando has been a leader in the travel industry for over 25 years and has organized trips for individuals from all over the world. Brendan has been photographing for over 20 years, teaches photography on the college level, and is represented by Corbis Corporation, the leader in stock photographic images. Both are committed to making this trip a once in a lifetime experience. While the trip is geared towards photography, people who are not into the photographic aspect of the trip are also welcome.
