IRELAND PHOTOGRAPHY

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We will be traveling in one of the safest, tourist friendly countries in the world.  The people here are known for their laid back, friendly manner so remember leave the hustle and bustle of your daily lives at home.  We will have a variety of events planned everyday but if you want to do some things on your own that is also fine.  The main thing is that everyone needs to be on time for the bus when it leaves.  Remember it is everyone's vacation.  The weather in Ireland is very similar to Seattle so August is one of the best months to go.  It is usually warm and dry.

SOME THINGS I RECOMMEND YOU BRING:

Strong comfortable footwear,  rain jacket,  a light jacket or heavy sweater, spending money, money belt to keep your funds safe, broad-brim or peaked cap, sunblock, toiletries, lip balm, small flashlight, bathing suit, original passport with two copies (THIS IS A MUST), small daypack.

PHOTOGRAPHY CONCERNS:

A couple months before the trip we will have a meeting to go over photography concerns.  We will discuss film choice, digital concerns,  what equipment to bring, etc.  We will discuss via phone with those participants who do not live in the Seattle area and are unable to attend the meeting.

EVERYONE MUST HAVE A CURRENT PASSPORT SO MAKE SURE THAT YOU PLAN AHEAD AND GET ONE WITH PLENTY OF TIME TO SPARE.
