Ecological CANOPY Tour -- Day or NIGHT

You’ve heard about Canopy Tours before, yet now you can experience the Iguana Tours difference with the Manuel Antonio specialist – day or night. Our ecologically and educationally focused Canopy experience is geared towards a mix of adventure, nature and safety. Excellent for individuals, families, children 6 years old and over, or large groups, people of all ages will enjoy this adventure tour because of its variety, options and bio-diversity.

Travel through the primary Costa Rican tropical jungle on suspension cables as you move through the primary jungle canopy with your bilingual guides and safety spotters from platform to platform. If our high-tech, high-quality equipment for zip-lining turns out to be “not your style”, then relax and enjoy a cold one back on the ground as you watch your fellow guests sip line by line to each canopy platform. If you so desire, take a leisurely stroll or hike through our secluded, protected habitat of the mono tit biological corridor, which is an excellent location for you to explore the exotic varieties of plant and animal life in the Costa Rican mountainous jungles near Manuel Antonio National Park.

Our ecologically and educationally focused hiking experience is geared towards a mix of adventure, education, nature and ecology. Hike through partly shaded paths carved directly out of the primary Costa Rican tropical jungle as you explore with your bilingual guides and naturalists. Explore the exotic plant and wildlife of the mountainous jungle so close to Manuel Antonio National Park, yet along the mono titi (the endangered squirrel monkey) biological corridor it is a more private, personalized, and relaxing experience. Peacefully enjoy a cold one on the ground as you watch your fellow guests zip line by line to each canopy platform – for yes, our Ecological Canopy Tour is zipping above your head as you enjoy a more peaceful adventure on the ground. If you so desire, take a leisurely stroll or hike through our secluded, protected habitat, which is an excellent location for you to discover the bio-diversity and delicate balance between preservation and eco-tourism, yet leave with new knowledge of how you can extend the experience to others when you return home.

Nauyaca Waterfalls & Horse Back Riding

If you enjoy Rancho Don Gilberto’s Horseback Riding, Tocori waterfalls and botanical adventure close to the hills of Manuel Antonio, then you are ready for your next horse back riding experience – a trip to Nauyaca Waterfalls. This full-day experience starts with a trip through breathtaking mountainous countryside between Manuel Antonio and Dominical, and comes with many “perks”. Rain Forest Aerial Tram / Pacific Tour

You can almost imagine yourself gliding effortlessly and gracefully through the Costa Rican rain forest – just like the rare scarlet macaw does near our world-famous Carara National Park – and this time it is not on a Canopy zip line. Here, close by the same Tarcoles biological corridor full of unique, bio-diverse flora and fauna, a stunning, cascading 40 foot waterfall, endangered giant rainforest trees, and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean are all just part of the ride on our Pacific Rain Forest Aerial Tram adventure, which overlooks Costa Rica´s unforgettable primary and secondary tropical rain forest ecosystem.

The ride on our unique Pacific Aerial Tram takes about one hour as you gracefully travel about one half mile deep into the heart of the bio-diverse and uniquely Costa Rican tropical rain forest – from the secondary to the primary forest canopy all during the same adventure. Our unforgettably special Aerial Tram location offers guests the opportunity to observe first hand over 200 acres of private yet Costa Rican certified and government protected natural reserve.
