Arenal Volcano's Hot Springs


You'll enjoy a healthful bath in mineral hot springs that come from
impressive Arenal Volcano. These thermal waters come from different springs,
with temperatures between 32 and 67 degrees Celsius. The pools are
surrounded by gorgeous gardens, making the perfect complement to a
fascinating afternoon/evening full of natural encounters, culminating in a
delicious dinner. On a clear day it is possible to see Arenal erupt lava and
ash. On the way back to San Jose, you will understand why this is one of the
most popular tours in Costa Rica.

Four Destinations, One Experience
 

Costa Rica's natural wealth is so diverse that only one place isn't enough
to see it all. First, we'll visit Poás Volcano National Park, where we can
enjoy a spectacular view of one of the world's largest active craters, as
well as the area's vibrant vegetation. Next,. You will navigate the
Sarapiquí River, which courses through the tropical rainforest full of
birds, mammals and reptiles. Downstream we'll enjoy lunch before finishing
the river run. Then we'll head back on the river, where we can observe local
species of birds, mammals and reptiles. On the way back to San José we'll
head through Braulio Carrillo National Park, which is composed of cloud
forest, adorned with waterfalls and offers splendid views of nature.

Wonderful Horseback Ride and Canopy Tour(C.R Fun Adventure)

 

This is an excellent attraction where you can enjoy adventure while
surrounded by nature. Here you'll begin a horseback ride great for beginners
and experts alike that will take along trails that lead through secondary
forest, rivers and pastures. Then you can admire the forest from above, on
the nine cables and eleven platforms that make up the canopy tour. You can
fly freely through the forest on a spectacular 300-meter (three city blocks)
ride over the Sarapiquí River canyon. You will also see the only dairy farm
in Central America that uses environmentally responsible technology, where
manure is recycled and used to produce electricity. This is an excellent
option that combines adventure and respect for nature.

Poás Volcano / Nature and Handicrafts(Poás-Sarchí)


First we will pass through the beautiful city of Alajuela where we can see
some patriotic monuments that encompass part of Costa Rica's history. Then
we'll see the coffee plantations, and the fern, flower and strawberry farms
that will accompany us all the way up to Poás Volcano National Park. Once
inside the park we'll be delighted as we observe one of the world's largest
active craters, as well as exuberant vegetation full of exotic plants and
birds. The trip will end in the village of Sarchí, which is known for its
high-quality handicrafts. Within its production, the most famous piece is
the painted oxcart, which has been declared World Intangible Heritage by
UNESCO. You'll also find great souvenirs made of leather, wood, clay and
other rustic materials, made by local artisans.

Discover Natural Costa Rica (Poás-La Paz)


On the way to Poás Volcano, will pass through the beautiful city of Alajuela

Garden, which houses a collection of move than 2,000 different types of
plants from around Costa Rica and the world. Then we'll head to the La Paz
Waterfall Gardens, where beautiful paths will take us to five impressive
cascades. Here we can visit the largest butterfly garden in Central America,
as well as a hummingbird garden, orchid garden, snake exhibition, frog
exhibition and the traditional house "La Paz."

Adventure on the Rapids

rafters will love the class-IV Pacuare River.

Cruise to Tortuga Island


 
This tour will give us an up-close glimpse of the islands that stud the Gulf
of Nicoya and its cool, crystalline waters. These islands are perfect for
enjoying the sea breeze and spectacular views during a day of pleasure and
relaxation. On Tortuga Island we can participate in optional activities such
as swimming, snorkeling in crystalline waters or simply relaxing on the
gorgeous white-sand beach, where you can play volleyball or explore the
island's landscapes.

Turu Ba Ri Nature Park and Gondola



Turu Ba Ri is a private park that offers nature and adventure tours in a
beautiful transition zone from tropical dry to rain forest. We'll start out
with a canopy tour that consists of 12 platforms and seven cables, the last
of which stretches 650 meters (2,000 feet). The sensation of flying between
trees is marvelous.

Then we'll begin a walk along one of the park's paths that will take us to
the Butterfly Garden, and Orchid and Bromeliad Gallery. Later we'll visit
the Country Farm where, in addition to the buffet-style lunch, we can
observe a palenque (a traditional indigenous structure), an ox-driven sugar
mill, a maze and other attractions that will leave you marveled. Your trip
through the park ends when we leave via a modern gondola.

Visit Beautiful San José


This tour shows you La Sabana Metropolitan Park, a green space known as the
"lungs of San José." Then we'll head to Rohmoser, which is a residential
area that houses the President's home and several embassies.

During the tour, we'll enjoy several areas of the city such as the National
Museum, which was a base for our now-disappeared army; the National Theater,
which is a cultural jewel built at the end of the 19th century; and the
Plaza de la Democracia, where we can browse through stalls selling all kinds
of handicrafts.


Note: The National Theater is closed Sundays. The National Museum is closed
Mondays. Tours on these days will only visit the areas around the closed
buildings.
