Dear Rolando,

I wanted to write you before I left on my around the world trip to thank you for starting my 3 month world journey off on such a great note. My only regret is that Joyce and I did not get to spend more time checking out the country with you.

Travel is and diving are my passions..but I must say the topside activities are the best in Costa Rica. I have been on trips where one is treated like a "tourist"....but with you, and the activities we had I felt like I was visiting a friend who lived in Costa Rica.

The rafting with Costa Rica PaddleSports was excellent...I have rafted on class 5 rivers all over the US...and I have to say though the rivers were not class 5...the guides were certainly 1st class and more than capable of guiding in the US.

I will be traveling to over 15 countries in the next 100 days and I am glad that I was able to start my trip with you in Costa Rica. I will be with guides in Bali, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal, Morocco and Kenya and I hope they are all as top notch and professional as you and the people you work with.

I would also suggest that option 8 be changed to option 4 to allow for 3 full days of top side activities. As we were originally scheduled, had we not been able to change, it would have had us rushing around and driving too much.

I would highly recommend COSTA RICA DIVE to all my friends and business associates who are considering a trip to Costa Rica...but on one condition...and that only if Rolando is putting the trip together....his "no worries" attitude and personable manner is what makes the experience top notch. I am sure you can find lots of people to take you around the country...but Rolando's planning and smooth execution made the trip worry free.

When I am finished with my journey I definitely will have to come back to this beautiful and hospitable country!
