50th, Wedding Anniversary and a 50th Birthday as well

Rolando and Bridget,

Thank you so much for the pictures. They are great. You really captured the spirit and excitement of that day!

I wanted to email you, sooner, but it’s been so busy at work since coming back from our wonderful vacation.

First let me say, “We love your country!!!” We had such a fantastic trip and we are so happy the way everything turned out.

I know you were hoping to join us in Arenal, but Alonso was so great and we had established such a wonderful rapport with him, that it seemed unnecessary to “switch”.
It’s not that we did not want you Rolando (as I’m sure you would have been just as great), but it seemed easier for both parties, not to switch mid-week.

We really appreciated you taking the time to meet us at the Sarapiqui, and the pictures you took of us are super!

There were so many wonderful things about our trip that I’d like to tell you but it would take too long to put it in writing.

Suffice it to say, that it was an unforgettable family vacation and a great way to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary and a 50th birthday as well.

Anyway, I could go on and on….Rolando (and Bridget), thank you for your patience and the time you spent with us on planning our trip. We really appreciated it and I think it paid off.

Alonso was so knowledgeable, so accommodating, so flexible and so patient to put up with all of our indecisions (and sometimes yelling at each other). I know how hard it can be in a big group to make everybody happy. Somehow, he succeeded. Walter was also great and even Edison on the first day was fantastic.

I have a feeling some of us will be back in Costa Rica in the future…….hopefully sooner than later with Costa Rica Dive.
