Dear Rolando:

How can we ever thank you enough for the wonderful family vacation we just had in your beautiful Country? Larry, Dylan, Avery and I just can not stop talking about the seven days
We spent touring Costa Rica with you, seeing Manuel Antonio, Monteverde and Arenal. We all agree that this was the best family vacation we’ve ever had and we know we could not have done it without you.

Your help and guidance during the planning of this vacation was invaluable. Your extensive knowledge of the country and your vast experience in the travel business provided us with insights and information we could never have gotten from a guide book. planning this vacation with you allowed us to create a vacation that was perfect for our family. You listened to what we wanted to do and then helped us plan a specific itinerary that was fun, interesting and exciting. Because of your help, we were able to see and do so much during out time in Costa Rica.

As you and I planned the trip via email, I was constantly amazed at how responsive and patient you were with me, even as I changed my mind again and again, or asked yet another question. The information you sent us about the different places we would be going and what we needed to bring, and the pictures your emailed in the weeks before we arrived helped to get us all prepared and exited about the upcoming trip. Those were very nice personal touches that we all appreciated.

From the moment we arrived in San Jose, we felt that we were being taken care of by you and your staff. You certainly fulfilled your promise of ¨personalize service¨ throughout the time we were with you and consistently went above and beyond what was necessary to fulfill that promise. You were always keeping us on track, making sure we were prepared for every adventure and watching out for our comfort. This type of service made the trip stress-free for Larry and me despite the fact that we were traveling in a foreign country with two children and neither of us spoke the language.

The activities you planned were interesting, educational and exciting for all of us yet always safe and fun for Avery (age 8) and Dylan (age 11). The Sky Trek in Monteverde, the Arenal Canopy Tour in Arenal, and the river rafting with Costa Rica PaddleSports were fabulous and exciting enough to keep us on our toes but safe enough the we were able to relax and enjoy it without worrying if the kids were alright. The hummingbird gallery, butterfly farm, and the hike up to the old lava flow were beautiful and fascinating. Your extensive knowledge of birds, flowers, and animal life made all of our hikes more educational and interesting but also lots of fun.

The hotels you suggest were perfect for our family and we enjoyed each one of them than the last one. While we were sad to leave each place, we were always surprised and delighted at the next place you had in store for us. The rooms you reserved were large enough to accommodate all of us comfortable and the views were spectacular. Meals were always fun and you always seemed to get us the best table.

Finally, and most important, it was a complete pleasure to spend all that time with you and we all feel as though we´ve made a new friend. I know that this is your business and I suspect you are the best guide in all of Costa Rica, but you made us feel as though we were friends rather than ¨clients¨ and that made the trip all the more special. It was hard for us to say goodbye on Saturday because we had so enjoyed spending time with you and none of us wanted to leave. We learned so much from you and had such a great time in the process.

Thank you again for all you did for us and for making this trip so memorable. This will surely be a vacation we will never forget. We will tell everyone we know that they should plan a trip to Costa Rica and that the only way to go is with Rolando!

We hope very much to see you again sometime in the future (either in Costa Rica or here in United States).
