What The Pros Say |
Brendan Regan
I Dear Rolando: First of all I want to congratulate you on your successful venture with Costa Rica Dive Based on my past trips with your impeccable service, I am extremely excited both for you and all future clients who decide to enjoy the Costa Rica experience through your company. They truly are in store for once in a lifetime journey.
Being both a college professor and professional photographer, I cannot stress how important it has been in providing a high quality service at a good value to the participants of my photographic expeditions. During the past two year your tireless attention to detail and creativity in planning has truly made for magical trips for all involved. The ability to customize trips through your thorough knowledge and contacts not only in Costa Rica, but with this past years trip, in Nicaragua, makes for a completely unique travel expedition not offered by anyone else in the industry. This along with your service minded dedication has been essential to the huge success the trips have been the past two years.
When we first started planning the first years trip I requested an out of the way spot to give photographers an experience that no other operators offered. Through your connections, our journey became a unique cultural and photographic odyssey when we visited the Cabecar Bri-Bri Indians. Not only did you arrange for a multicultural exchange, but also having a trained scientist as part of our tour guides gave the participants a thoroughly educational experience. This was the beginning of our journey with the end being across the county in Corcovado National Park. I had been to Costa Rica previously but never did I dream I would encounter such natural pristine environments. You tireless attention to detail saved our trip when at the last moment you arranged to fly us all into the station when the rivers had washed out the roads. I still have photographers who joined us email me to say this part of the trip truly changed their lives.
Just like the first trip, last year’s trip was a once in a lifetime experience for the participants who joined us on the trip to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and yes even over the border into Panama. Your two-year preparation for a trip up the San Juan River once again had the multicultural, historical, and most important image making opportunity that I have come to promise the members of my trips. To stay in a small Nicaraguan town along the river’s banks will be an experience both burned into all our memories as well as on lots of film. With the photography industry getting increasing competitive, the opportunity to photograph new and unique environments is becoming more difficult. Your ability to present photographers with these distinct locales off the beaten path of tourists results in a plethora of interesting, vital images. That is why I cannot say enough about the way the trip was organized by your team in Costa Rica and the value each individual received for their financial commitment.
Once again the quality work and dedication of you and your staff made the trip a spectacular event. Our boat trip, with two wonderful captains Luis and Junior, was a delight. The trepidation that some members of trip experienced about traveling to Nicaragua was soon replaced with a new found joy and curiosity as we experienced a new culture. It was a great mix of towns, wildlife, landscape and people resulting in a great photographic experience. A truly amazing day was when we even went over the border into Panama to complete three countries in one-week event coordinated so smoothly and professional. Even down to choosing our driver Jose, who was always quick with a laugh, a song or a smile made for the traveling part of the journey most enjoyable.
I look forward to continuing my trips to Central America through your Company You have gained a lifelong customer through your effort. I especially am excited as we look forward to next year with expanding our trips through your company to South America, with Machu Pichu Peru in 2004. Once again it will become an event to behold.
All the best!!
Sincerely,
Brendan Regan
