What The Pros Say |

ISAM 15th Annual Anniversary July 28-August 7th, 2007
@2007 Sue Mobley
Imagine swimming in the warm, blue ocean and seeing whales and mantas beside you. Picture yourself suspended over the treetops of a rain forest as you zip along a line on a canopy tour. Envision paddling down a river full of rapids. These thrills and many more are examples of the once-in-a-lifetime experiences we found in Costa Rica thanks to Costa Rica Dive. This year, myself and 44 adventuresome souls traveled to Costa Rica July 28- August 7 during the 15th-annual Anniversary of ISAM (International Society of Aquatic Medicine).

With El Ocotal and Arenal Observatory as backdrops, we journeyed to a tropical paradise filled with an abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna. The hectic pace of everyday life melted away as soon as the bus pulled up to El Ocotal, where the scenery was a colorful and exotic wonder to behold. For some, the deep calls of howler monkeys looking for delicious mangoes was an amazing moment. For others, it was seeing the wild orchids with their lavender-color petals growing along the sandy beaches. The best experience for some of the people was feeling the gentle ocean breeze float through the salty air as they geared up for a dive in to the underwater oasis below.
All of these remarkable encounters were arranged by Rolando Arburola, owner of Costa Rice Dive. He made sure all of the arrangements were taken care of, down to the finest details. Our group agrees that we arrived in Costa Rica as clients and left as friends. We felt Rolando’s love for his country and his concern for the preservation of the environment and culture. I give Costa Rica Dive a 10+ for customer service and for truly taking care of us to ensure we had an outstanding time. Costa Rica Dive gives Legendary Service!
