Dear Rolando:
I am writing to express my sincere thanks in your continuing effort in making Brendan Regan Photography Expeditions a huge success. The latest trip to Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail, and Peru could not have gone smoother with every participant expressing the absolute joy they experienced in a safe, well-organized journey. All the hard work and two years of planning paid off with the remarkable ten days we spent in Peru and particularly at Machu Picchu, the Lost Inca City. The sense of accomplishment in hiking the Inca Trail was well rewarded with the look on each person's face as they stared onto the ruins of an ancient civilization. It is this dedication and commitment that has made this and past trips with your company such once in a lifetime occurrence.
After traveling with groups in the past to Costa Rica and Nicaragua through your company, this trip presented unique logistical challenges. Every step along the way I had full confidence in providing a cost effective trip that was unique, safe, and different from what was available through traditional tourism channels. People joining my groups look for those special moments to capture on film or digitally, and this trip optimized this philosophy. Through your scheduling we had the opportunity to photograph the people in both urban and rural settings, capture amazing landscapes, shoot ancient architecture, and document the intricacies of both a current and ancient culture. From hiking the beauty of the Inca Trail, to walking the streets of Cusco, the ancient capital, to visiting breathtaking cathedrals, and soaking in the cosmopolitan aspects of Lima, every day brought a new opportunity for the camera. Being a College Photography Professor, I could not ask for a better environment to provide as subject matter.
When I first started planning these trips it was your creativity that lead to a unique cultural and photographic odyssey when we visited the Cabecar Bri-Bri Indians, and Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica. The second trip expanded to include a five-day boat expedition in both Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and yes we even ventured over the border into Panama. Now with this trip we have truly gone international by visiting the county of Peru on the continent of South America. Probably the most amazing aspect was that although we were traveling a greater distance into a developing county, your preparations made it feel as though you had done this trip a hundred times. People don't realize what goes on behind the scenes and your effort both before and during these trips keep hidden the logistics so it appears seamless to the clients. It is this continued dedication to quality and service, regardless of the country, that makes both you and your company such a success.
I look forward to continuing my trips Worldwide and beyond with Costa Rica Dive. You have gained a lifelong customer and friend. I especially am excited as we look forward to next year in Costa Rica and expanding our trips to New Zealand in 2006. Once again it will become an event to behold.
Sincerely,
Brendan Regan
